Greenville. I later became the Food Editor for South Carolina Homes & Gardens Magazine until it sadly went on hiatus recently, and hopefully will come back soon since it was a beautiful magazine that featured South Carolina so well. I've also been the guest editor for Recipe Corner Magazine, developing recipes for a special Southern food edition that was distributed nationally. I currently free- lance magazine and newspaper articles as well as being the food writer for the PBS web page for Garden Smart, a PBS Television production. Cooking Classes- For over 10 years I've taught cooking classes at area stores and shops that include the Kitchen Emporium in Anderson, SC, Foxfire, Williams-Sonoma, in Greenville, and Stone Soup in the upstate of SC. As well as cooking classes in private homes. In 1973 I became a private pilot and love anything to do with aviation even though I no longer fly. My husband Steve and I recently moved to the SC coast to be nearer family. We have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. |
